SHARKK® Leather Wallet For Men Slimfold 100% Genuine (Tall/Large, Black)

Maybe I don't have a lot of imagination, but I can't figure out how anybody can improve upon the standard wallet design. Most of the wallets I've used over the years are pretty similar. This is a very good value for its price. I like the slimness of the design and I'm happy there is no third flap in there adding to the thickness. I also very much appreciate the dual bill pockets; they come in handy for storing my receipts for business travel in a secure location.The only thing I would change about this product is the depth of the credit card pockets... they all reach the bottom of the wallet, which means that when I push them (cards) down all the way inside each pocket (out of habit) the rear cards are hidden behind the front. Just to be clear, the tops/openings of each pocket appear to be staggered, but the depth is not. It feels like a strange design choice.

The Shark leather wallet with RFID repellent has been going strong now for nearly 2 years of use.Since I was concerned about card privacy, the RFID blocking material was an important purchasing factor.Also, the slimness of the wallet was appealing to me, as my own wallets tend to become full (of papers, not cash) very quickly.Done in a rich black lightly pebbled leather, the wallet has a very slim profile when empty.The name, 'Shark' is embossed on the front of the wallet, but is discreetly done and not obtrusive.There are 2 bill compartments, multiple credit card slots and handy pockets behind each credit card slot section.The RFID repellent feature does not make this wallet any thicker than a similar non RFID wallet.As far as ease of use goes, this wallet stays put and has never fallen out of my pocket!It is a handy, useful size and I have completely enjoyed carrying this SHARKK® Leather Wallet For Men Slimfold 100% Genuine (Tall/Large, Black).

This was a very pleasant surprise. I needed a wallet desperately as all of my cards and military ID kept falling out of my old and well-worn wallet. After finding the SHARKK Leather Wallet on Amazon I pulled the trigger and bought it.It arrived at my home in South Korea in great condition and earlier than expected (which is fantastic). The wallet was very well packaged for the journey. Upon unwrapping it I noticed immediately that the leather it is made of is quite sturdy, the stitching accurate, and the feel of the wallet is substantial. It looks extremely well made. The wallet has 7 credit card slots and 2 areas for paper currency (which is perfect because I carry Korean Won and US Dollars every day). The staggered divider make it extremely easy to access either currency area quickly. Plus, the wallet has 2 hidden pockets tucked behind the credit card slots giving me a huge number of options for stowing important documents.It is absolutely perfect for me as I only purchase slim bifolds, but the added feature of this wallet that makes it even better than perfect is its RFID resistance. This is important because nearly every card I own (and I'm sure you own them too), and also my military ID, has a chipset embedded inside of it that can be read by any RFID device. Considering all of the travelling that I do outside the USA this is critical for me as these RFID-reading devices can pick up data from the cards I carry without my authorization and can be used to steal my identity. EVERYONE should carry a wallet that is RFID resistant, and the SHARKK Leather Wallet does it well. I tested the RFID blocking ability of the wallet by swiping it against our access readers and it was 100% unable to read my cards through the wallet, which is exactly what it should do.Great wallet, great purchase from Amazon, great customer service from SHARKK! Edit 4/29/2014: This wallet is already starting to look pretty worn at the corners and edges after just about 5 months of lite use, it took the Tommy Hilfiger wallet that I used previously about 2 years to reach the same wear level. I like the design and size of this wallet, but I will get another Hilfiger wallet soon, they are a much better value considering there quality.The last wallet that I used for about 2 years was a Tommy Hilfiger slim wallet that I do not see on amazon any more, but is similar to the Cambridge Passcase. I ordered this Sharkk wallet after my dog tried to eat my old one,which was just starting to get a bit worn. The Tommy Hilfiger wallet looked a little better than this Shakk one, but it also cost twice as much and this one looks good enough that I am not embarrassed to use it. My first impression of the leather is that it does not seem as durable as the Tommy Hilfiger wallet, but it is pretty good, I would guess that it will last at least a year before becoming noticeably worn. What I like about this wallet is that it is bigger than the Hilfiger one, so it is easy to get cards in and out of it and it has seven separate card slots while my old one only had 4. This wallet is large, but it fits easily in my pockets and it is slim, about the same thickness as the Hilfiger one, so I do not notice any difference when it is in my pocket. I got the brawn one and it is a very dark brown, near black and the wallet does not have a ID window, those are useless anyway. The wallet does have a chemical smell, but it seems to be fading quickly and will probably disappear in another week. I like the larger design of this wallet better than the Tommy Hilfiger ones, so if it lasts a decent length of time I will probably keep buying these.
