Before this basket I would buy a handful of items at the store and then walk the scooter home as i was overloaded. Now with the basket I can buy two handfuls of items and then walk the scooter home because i am overloaded. i really do like that the basket detaches so that the moment i walk out of the store with my arms full I realize i once again left the basket at home. that said, it seems well made and durable, and I would highly recommend it to anyone else who enjoys purchasing useful accessories and immediately leaving them at home.

This is a neat little basket with straight forward (but a little tricky) assembly. I was surprised the basket was as heavy as it is given the size, but, it is a nice powder coated metal. I purchased this to put on the kid's Razor E200 scooter which has a thin neck (too small for this basket out of the box.) The neck for the basket comes with a couple of rubber shims to grip the handle bar tube but those were not enough. I simply took a couple of pieces of spare bike tube rubber and padded the bracket a little more which made it fit the Razor E200 neck perfectly. The tricky part of the assembly is keeping the bracket in place as you adjust and tighten the bolts. If you happen to have a fully functioning 3rd arm and hand coming out of your chest then assembly will be easy-peasy. Since I don't have a fully functioning 3rd arm (anymore) I took a couple of large nylon cable ties and strapped the bracket in place which let me put all the bolts in place w/o the bracket constantly falling down.
