Harbyel Dog Lift Harness Visit the Store Visit the Store Review: Post CCL Surgery Necessity - We tried many options and this one was perfect for our situation. My lab tore his CCL (similar to ACL in knee of dogs), and I really only needed a lift for his rear end. The others I tried that were hind only had too big of loops and would slip over his knee when he laid down. I was worried he would reinjure if it slipped when he stood up, so this one snapping to the front harness seems more safe. I also like that it only wraps around his hips, so it isn’t pushing on his genitalia, so no problems going potty. We went with option 2 because the chest harness over his chest makes him hot and anxious, but this one is minimal and the 2 straps don’t seem to bother him. Under his armpits is completely open, so no worries of hotspots from rubbing. We tried others that were too bulky that he didn’t seem comfortable to sleep in, but this one he seems more at ease. I wouldn’t use this to full body carry my boy, but for post-surgery rehab I can easily lift pressure off his hind legs. Bigger wasn’t better in our case and at this price point, I’m very pleased. Review: Works well but back ends falls off - I like this and it fits my 17yr old pitty well. The o ly issue is the back piece falls off him often. I tighten it, it still falls off. I use this to help him get up and down from the couch and vehicle. This won't let me add a photo.

Appears thoughtfully made, durable and comfortable.
Henry is a golden retriever/English setter mix - weighs about 60lbs and is of a size between a small golden/large English setter. I ordered the Large. I got this lift harness because he is having surgery to remove a very large lipoma on his left thigh. He struggles a bit to go up and down the few stairs we have. I wanted this to help him keep some weight off his leg post surgery. Overall, the Dog Lift Harness appears well made and durable. All of the connection points are stitched firmly in place. The buckles are heavy plastic and placed where they well not take stress from the straps where possible. The harness portion fits well and has several adjustment points to ensure the correct fit. The shoulder adjustments are a bit fiddly and take a little patience but I don't anticipate I will need to adjust them after the first time. I like the padding across the chest and back and the mesh pockets that cover the buckles. The back portion fits his normal leg just fine but I could not get it over his lipoma (it is huge) but I will be able to once the surgery is complete. I very much appreciate the harness can be used alone so this will not be a short term item. I think this will make getting around after a little easier for him - and me. He has not worn a harness before. I am asking him to wear it a little more each day so he can adjust to it. I was able to lift his front end off the floor quite easily with the harness. I feel like the Y shaped chest padding distributes his weight comfortably without putting pressure on his chest or ribs. He did not fuss at all, or try to struggle out of it. and seems quite comfortable. He is a laid back dog who has multiple health issues and had acclimated to cones, boots, recovery suits, etc.. Give your dog time to adjust with lots of rewards Be patient.

Works Great
I'm a groomer and ordered this for a client with an older Golden Retriever who is having trouble standing for long periods of time. They love it and it has worked great for walking and loading their dog. The straps seem a bit thin to support the weight of a dog, but he doesn't seem to be bothered by it when they lift him up using this harness. The 2 piece construction is nice too, because you can clip the back end harness to any harness you're currently using and go. A little thicker straps and more padding would be nice (especially in the back end), but overall a great system for dogs that need a little help.

Not Funtional
Returned it because it was difficult to put on our baby who can barely get up for a long time.

Worth the price! This Harbyel dig lift harness is such a lifesaver.
I, of course am not a dog but I can tell that this harness is comfortable on my dog. He is aging and has a hard time now getting into the jeep for car ride which he immensely enjoys. This Harbyel dig lift harness is such a lifesaver. Always afraid that I might injure my fur baby when trying to get him into the vehicle this multi-functional harness takes away the worry and stress. The support harness helps him when going on rides and taking walks and you can use for front or rear help only or as a full lifting support system. You can tell he likes it because I am able to attach to him in no time at all and I don’t hear any yelps when getting him into vehicles now. The quality of this adjustable lift harness is top-notch with a good, sturdy nylon and a mesh lining that is breathable and the fit is secure. Strong plastic clips that easily slide together and easy press release when removing. Instruction guide included and it is machine washable. Thank you Harbyel for making this full body multi-functional lift harness and I will definitely spread the word on your product. Worth the price!

A 2-Part System for Complete Mobility Support
We ordered this multifunctional dog lift harness for an older black Lab who has recently started to show signs of needing assistance - especially when going up and down stairs or getting into the back of the car for vet visits. I especially appreciate that the two components can be used separately, or as a complete system of support. The harness comes with visual instructions for the back portion of the system. The front portion fits just like a regular harness and requires no instructions. I found the visual instructions to be easy to follow. It did take a few minutes to adjust the straps to the correct length on both the chest and tail pieces, but once they were properly adjusted It was not that difficult to put on my dog. The tail portion and the chest portion of this harness system connect with an elastic strap that is also adjustable. I found the fit, according to the sizing chart, to be accurate. The straps themselves are very good quality. They are securely attached with solid stitching at every attachment point. The D rings and sliders are metal. This was a nice surprise as often they are made from plastic. While he doesn’t quite need it all of the time yet, my old dog will eventually need full support for standing and getting into the car. My husband and I took turns using the tail section to lift him from a sitting position, and the entire system for lifting him into the car. He’s too heavy for me to lift on my own, but the position of the handles certainly does help provide mobility for a dog that is starting to require assistance. I’m just not sure this is the right tool for a dead lift into the back of a vehicle on a large dog weighing about 100 pounds. It did, however, make a huge difference in assisting him up the stairs. I have not had any need to wash this harness yet, but it looks easy enough to clean with a wet cloth. The padded areas that go under the back legs may require additional rinsing and air drying as they are most likely to be soiled during potting. Speaking of which, I especially like both the added padding which makes lifting our dog more comfortable for him, and the fact that it does not impede his ability to go to the bathroom on his own.

So so so helpful!
This. Thing. Right. Here! My poor pup is on the downhill due to her age. This rear end lifter has been a help on her and on my back. It's easy to use once you adjust it properly. It does not pinch her legs which I was afraid of. There was no slipping other than on and off once fitted. I would buy this multiple times if needed, it has helped tremendously. Definitely worth the money!
