Very good value for money on sale and even without to be honest.
I am giving this a five star rating but I do have reservations. My wife and I have a Pixel 8 and 9 phone so we use Android, but we are both in our 70's and often find Android frustrating to use on our phones and I find it just the same on the tablet. It is just not intuitive to use and we are forever trying to figure out how to do things which can be very frustrating. OK that may be as much our fault as Android's fault due to our age. The device is very well built, it looks good, feels good to touch and hold and appears overall to be a well made quality product. I will never use it for games so the speed is perfect for my use, the screen looks really good, the sound is very good for a tablet and the camera works well also. I purchased a screen protector, keyboard case and pen, all of which worked perfectly with the tablet almost immediately. I have read many reviews, complements and complaints before buying and do not find any of them to be relevant to my experience with it so far, many of the complaints could be negated by people buying a more expensive tablet. It is replacing an ageing Samsung tablet and I really like that it does not have have all the Samsung stuff loaded onto it and the included Android works more like my phone which helps me. Now my big complaint which is completely my fault for not checking before purchasing, it does not have a memory slot to expand the devices memory as my previously owned Samsung devices have had. I am stuck with just the 128GB it came installed with. I could have bought the 256GB version but I never though about it, I had just assumed I would transfer my memory card. I wanted this feature as my memory card is used for my music CD's. I thought about knocking a star off for not having a memory slot but really it is what it is and I should have not assumed it would have one. I bought this on a pre Black Friday sale at the lowest price it was offered and I am really very happy with it. I would buy it again.

Impressed! A fantastic tablet experience
I received this tablet on December 1 and I have been incredibly happy with it so far. The 11-inch screen is sharp and vibrant—perfect for streaming movies and browsing the web. The performance is buttery smooth thanks to the Tensor G2 chip; apps open instantly and multitasking is a breeze. I’m also really impressed by the battery life, which easily gets me through the day. The build quality feels premium and the Android interface is clean and easy to navigate. Highly recommended if you want a reliable, high-quality Android tablet!

Great personal/work tablet; underrated
A truely underrated personal device, by everyone. I've never used it as home smart hub. I don't use a phone and only use the Pixel Tablet, giving me plenty of experience with it. This my experience: Cons: - the display is not incredibly bright while outdoors, but definitely usable. - the display has a bit of glare. I use it as a mirror sometimes with the screen off, but it's not a distraction when the device is actually in use. - the cameras cannot zoom in or out, they're "fixed focus." quite awful. But the selfie camera is okay for video calls. - the camera is near worthless for scanning textual documents, and does not suffice for scanning QR codes that are small or high density - the camera night mode is as scary as a game of Slender Man when you're looking at the antagonist. it's hardly better than an old T.V. reading fuzzy gray static. Might as well carry a flashlight, camera, or phone. Despite what I say about the camera, I still use it for taking pictures of documents, it's tolerable but can be blurry when you look close. Pros: - the battery holds a long charge. it's never been a concern for me outside - the display is great, very sharp images, no noticeable latency when I tap it. easy to clean with a microfibre cloth - the device is thin and light - the system is fast - has never gotten hot - cools off quickly after warming up - Has a great display. it's large, very sharp, has vivid colors. I can't see the individual pixels - the audio quality is good - the microphone picks up my voice well - images are saved quickly, apps load quickly, everything is smooth and low latency - the device has 8GB of RAM and 128GB of disk storage, which is more than enough for me - the hardware is supported by GrapheneOS Ecosystem problems/concerns: - Very disappointed that there are no keyboards for the Pixel Tablet that connect to the pins. Bluetooth keyboards are always hit and miss when it comes to latency and connectivity Suggestions to Google: - Make the camera variable-focus. 8MP is okay, but fixed-focus is the flaw. - Introduce a keyboard that uses the pins. Lenovo does a good job in this regard for their own devices. - Disperse the heat better. It builds up in one particular spot under the camera.

Great tablet, but could use some updates.
I've finally given up on my iPad. My pixel tablet has been easy to transition to since I also use a Google phone. The only thing I don't like is that I can't add a sim card, it's wifi only. I use Google-Fi so it'd be nice have Google Fi cellular service on my tablet.

I really love this tablet. It works smoothly and feels reliable for everyday use like browsing, streaming, and general productivity. Everything runs well with no issues. The screen is excellent ,sharp and bright and the speakers are surprisingly good, with clear and rich sound that’s great for videos and music. The camera is decent, perfect for video calls and quick photos. The only downside is that it doesn’t come with a stylus, which would have been a nice addition for note-taking or drawing. Overall, it’s a solid and well-designed tablet. If you’re in the Google ecosystem and want something that just works, I highly recommend it.
