A classic pair of binoculars. What distinguishes the UpClose Porro
Binoculars-G2?From the observation of nature to the pursuit of
auto racing, your UpClose G2 binoculars will meet high demands.
The reasonably priced UpClose series contains six classic
binoculars with Porro prisms, including two zoom models. UpClose
G2 Porro binoculars are durable, have a large fluted focus
cylinder (central focus) for smooth and accurate focusing and a
dioptre adjustment on the right eyepiece for precise adaptation
to the different visual acuity of both eyes. The aluminium case of
the UpClose binoculars is rubber armoured for protection and good
grip. The UpClose G2 binoculars are all fully coated for a clear,
sharp and high-contrast image and have BK7 prisms. With the
central focus, the focus can be adjusted quickly; the right tube
is also a dioptric adjustment. The Zoom model has a handily
ed zoom lever for quick, accurate zoom setting. The grippy
rubber pad with grooves for the fingers and raised logo provide
comfortable, non-slip hold. All binoculars are waterproof and
include a soft carrying case and neck strap. Why should you choose
UpClose G2 binoculars?UpClose G2 Binoculars with high quality
optics and BK7 prisms offer you and your family bright, clear and
sharp vision for your outdoor activities such as riding, hiking,
bird, wildlife and general observation of nature, but also in
concert and theatre, just to name a few. The UpClose G2
binoculars are a good choice if you are looking for an affordable
pair of binoculars from which you want to have many years of
enjoyment.Setting options for the UpClose G2 Binoculars Note: If
your binoculars have a dioptre, record the settings for later use
for a fast setting. Setting the interpupillary distance (PD)Since
the distance between the two eyes (more precisely: the distance
between the centres of the pupils) is different for different
people, the two eyepieces of the binoculars must be set
correctly. This is called "setting the pupillary distance". Hold
the binoculars (with both hands) before your eyes and look
through the binoculars at an object in the distance. Move the two
halves of the binoculars on the joint until you see a clear image
circle with both eyes.FocusingSince most people have different
prescriptions in the left and right eye, the focusing system must
be set. Follow these steps to adjust focus:1. Close your right
eye and look through the left side of the binoculars with the
left eye at the object. Rotate the centre focusing wheel until
the image appears sharp. 2. Close your left eye and look through
the right eyepiece (called the dioptre). Turn the right eyepiece
until the image appears sharp. 3. Look with open eyes through
both eyepieces. Since you have already set the right eyepiece,
use only the centre focusing wheel to re-adjust the focus for a
object at a different distance.Tip: If you normally wear glasses
for near-edness, you should use the glasses when using
binoculars. Otherwise, you will not achieve sharp focus in
infinity range. Example image: UpClose G2-Porro binoculars on the

Adjusting the rubber eyecupsLeave the rubber eyecups
folded if you do not wear glasses. However, if you wear glasses,
put on the eyecups to maximize the field of view. When you are
finished with the observation, fold the eyecups up to store the
binoculars. Tripod connectionPorro prism binoculars feature an
integrated tripod adapter port. These models have a threaded hole
with cover. To attach the binoculars to a tripod adapter remove
the cover and screw one end of the stand adapter into the
threaded hole. The other end of the stand adapter is attached to
a camera tripod. The binoculars particularly at high powers are
more stable in this and can be operated more comfortably.
About the manufacturer, CelestronThe name "Celestron" has stood
for quality optics at affordable prices for over 50 years. The
invention of a revolutionary method of production enabled the
company's founder, Tom Johnson, to produce inexpensive compact
teles in the 1960s with large aperture and excellent optical
quality. The "Schmidt Cassegrain tele" was born and has
revolutionised astronomy. Countless other innovations followed,
from the first mass-produced fully computer-controlled tele
"Compustar" to hand planetarium "SkyScout" and the fully
automatic "SkyProdigy" teles. The product range has expanded
enormously. Celestron teles and accessories also offer
binoculars, spotting s and micros for beginners as well
as professional users. The UpClose G2 10-30x50 Zoom
