Packaged securely and easy to unpack. Came with instructions that were clear. Build quality was a pleasant surprise … smooth edges, good fit, durable padding where it’s needed and comes with a storage mat. The starter weight is fine for men starting out; 16lb may be a bit much for beginner women. I could see needing more weight past 36 lb but the market seems to top out around there so I would guess it’s a safer concern to go higher. The pin locking mechanism is straightforward and easy to change. There’s really no way to screw it up; the safety design is excellent. It makes a faint clunking sound when loaded with weights, but that is inherent in adjustable kettlebells and it is pretty quiet. Certainly not an issue. The handle is slightly knurled and shaped well; fits my workout very well (some competitors that is not true) Only two weeks in, but durability appears quite good. Recommended gear for beginners and less aggressive long-term kettlebell exercisers. Great value for money.

I just received this thing today, so I cannot speak to it's longevity. However, I am absolutely blown away by the design of this thing. It is extremely easy and fast to switch between weights, the cast iron grip is extremely durable and wide enough for 2 hands, and perhaps the biggest surprise is how well balanced it is. I was expecting this to be poorly balanced when at the lower weights, but that isn't the case at all. Whether I'm doing 16 or 36 pounds, all exercises feel the same regardless of the weight. I am also not even the slightest bit concerned about any of the weights falling out or being a safety hazard, the rubber flap on the side is magnetically connected to the iron handle. This thing is also STURDY, I weigh 185 pounds and was able to do pushups off the handle as advertised, no wobbling or fear of the thing breaking at all. I am HIGHLY IMPRESSED AND HAPPY WITH THIS PRODUCT. The only disadvantages that I can find are that yes it is a bit big for the size, especially at the lower weights. The whole kettlebell size is about the size of a normal 75 pound cast iron kettlebell. It's not overbearingly large, but just something to think about. Of course if you are looking at this product then it's probably because you wanted to save space too, and you can't have both small size and adjustable weight in one. The only true disappointment I have with this product is that there's not a heavier version. 36 pounds is enough for beginner and mid level people, but for me I wish that it went up to 50 or 60 pounds. If this company had a heavier version then I would buy it in a heartbeat

PROS: Easy to use, easy to change weights, easy to snap the magnet strip back, space saver, no discomfort in using two hands on the handle, low weights were easy to begin with for a beginner, love the weight pad, very fun to use and switch weights on the fly. Bottom padded rim on the bell is well attached and the whole bottom red plastic is durable enough to hold its weight. Cons: bit of a hassle to put back the bell to rack up, the logo piece came up a bit... will have to see why or what can be done about that. Summary: I look forward to my morning workout with the versa bell lots of fun... as a beginner if it gets tough I can easy switch the weight and keep working out with a lighter weight. Loads of fun swinging the weight around too. Over all great product.

As mentioned, this adjustable kettlebell is well thought out. It is very good for people new to kettlebells, since it allows them to train up to their "maintenance" weight with out having to purchase many separate bells. The price is also fair, considering. PROS: Good handle Good shape Good selection gradation of weights Secure, easy weight selection / locking CONS: Large size. especially at lower weight settings - this is "just the way it is" - perhaps the manufacturer could have made it slightly more compact Too many screws - top, bottom and lower rubber edge are screwed together - irrespective of any other negatives, I would have given it five stars if the the red plastic bell was made of bullet proof Lexan or something similar, which will not shatter. In this case, one has to take care not to bang it. The lowest weight plate sometimes sticks when it is excluded ( when 32 pounds are selected ), so you have to take care that it is not being picked up as well. Finally, the base pad and the bottom edge trim are "rubber" which has a very strong petroleum odor - after five months they still stink... Yes, I would recommend it.

I've used this for several months now, and it is solidly built. Adjusting the weight is easy, and the unit it secure while I'm doing exercises. It's a little too light for me to do swings - there was a heavier version available at one time, but now I can't find it anymore (which is unfortunate - they would be a fantastic combination to have). Replaces the expense of buying and shipping several different kettlebells, as well as saving storage space in my basement gym. The little rubber sticker with the brand name came off the top rather quickly, but that didn't affect the function at all, so it was no big deal to me. I could have glued it back on, but didn't bother. Would definitely recommend this model to someone who wants a variety of weights on the lighter end of the spectrum.

I have ordered a second Versa-Bell after using the first one for about an month. This is a great kettlebell. Having one piece of equipment that can replace six or seven is a great plus. The adjustment is simple and takes only seconds. Pull the lock pin out of its current position and place in in the desired hole, close the nice rubber flap and you're done. The handle is large, sturdy and rough to prevent slipping so I use my weightlifting gloves for protection. I travel with this every week and it beats the heck out of using the usually poorly maintained hotel equipment.

I found this to be a great purchase. It arrived from Ontario to Nova Scotia, 1 week before Christmas in 2 days - I was amazed! The product is terrific. The kettlebell is oversized, but I like it. It swings well & is very stable. The handle size is great for transitions between hands. Adjustment between weights is quick. I keep checking the pin to see if it has come out, but it does not - very secure. The sound that some reviews talk about is very minimal & compared to the noise of weights in a gym, it is nothing & a little music takes care of it anyway. I am very please with this purchase & the price was very reasonable.

This is a great unit for beginners, it is wonderful to have all the different weights so different family members can get a good workout. Sturdy quality, and the shipping was quick.

This is a great beginner-Intermediate kettlebell, and is about the same size as the professional series (perhaps a bit larger). PROS: Very convenient to have selection of weights in one small package. Sturdy, doesn't make me worry that it's going to break. Great price. You save a lot of money getting the versatility you can achieve with just one kettlebell. Saves space. CONS: The plastic has a very strong smell to it, so when doing swings you can definitely smell something chemically wafting up from it. The weight of the kettlebell shell alone is 16 lbs, which makes it difficult to do more obscure or advanced movements with good form. As a beginner, I found it difficult to do the kettlebell snatch with it as the bulkiness of it as well as its weight were cumbersome. As I became stronger, this no longer was an issue, however. The pin is difficult to fit in the hole at times, since the shell must be placed PERFECTLY on top of the weights. This hassle I believe is outweighed by the price and variation of weights you get with this kettlebell, however. OVERALL: Highly recommend this for beginners-intermediate kettlebell enthusiasts! Make sure you practice proper form, and take a class if you can. This kettlebell is a great mid-range, though beginners may want to also purchase a smaller weight to practice more difficult movements with perfect form before moving up in weight. Even for advanced, I think this is a great way to get a space-saving multiple weighted kettlebell. If you're on the fence- just get it!

So quick and easy to use. I was hoping to be able to change weights 4-5x in a workout and it's very fluid and easy to do so.
